This map shows the location of the Ricoh, our home ground. To get directions, first clear "The Ricoh Arena" from the "From" list (choose the dotted line). Then type your own address (road and city) into the "From/or" box, and click "Go".

Where to park
There is a 2 mile parking "exclusion zone" around the ground on matchdays, so paying for a car park is your only option. The Ricoh Arena website has details of the official "Park & Walk" sites, and there are a couple of local privately run ones, Leisure Ireland and "Ricoh Arena Carpark". Both can be pre-booked via their websites.
If you're prepared to do your weekend shopping before or after the game, you could try the Arena Park (Tesco's) next to the stadium itself. But beware: they may ask to see receipts from shops onsite for £25 or more when you leave.

Where to Eat
There is a Pizza Hut, Frankie and Bennie's & Burger King  on the shopping centre, and Tesco's itself has a "restaurant". Otherwise, there is the food both inside and outside the Arena itself.

Where to drink
The Black Horse, in Black Horse Rd is a local "away-friendly" pub. You could also try the Lord Raglan in Coventry Road, Exhall, or The Hub (Wheelwright Lane). The local Novotel (Wilsons Lane) is also nearby and has a bar. The Longford Engine is predominately a home fans pub, but will welcome you if you're not wearing your team's colours. The Casino (attached to the stadium) has also been known to pull a pint, and of course there are plenty of bars on the stadium concourse.

Public Transport

BY RAIL

There's an hourly service between Coventry Station and Coventry Arena Station which is adjacent to the Stadium. Outward trains leave Coventry station from Platform 2 at 42 minutes past the hour. The journey takes around 7 minutes.

Fares to Arena Station:
SINGLE -£2.30
OFF PEAK RETURN  - £2.40

West Midlands Free Off-Peak Concessions apply on these trains

Currently there is only room for approximately 150 passengers on these services for weekend matches. For weekday evening matches there is only room for 75 passengers. Don't assume that there will be room for you all on the train.

Please note also that TRAINS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO STOP TO PICK UP PASSENGERS AT COVENTRY ARENA STATION FOR AT LEAST ONE HOUR AFTER THE MATCH OR EVENT HAS FINISHED. SO, IF THE MATCH OR EVENT FINISHES AT 5PM THE NEXT TRAIN THAT WILL TAKE YOU BACK TO COVENTRY RAIL STATION WILL BE THE 6.28PM SERVICE WHICH ARRIVES AT COVENTRY AT 6.36PM.

One Ray of Hope?

A converted, renovated three-carriage unit has been acquired by the Combined Local Authorities from London Underground  to run on this service. It is reported that it should be in service by Christmas 2016 to run for a 12 month trial period. Hopefully this new unit will run in addition to the current train units and not as a replacement for any of them. So we should have an improved match rail service soon.
