Moz welcomed everyone to the meeting.




The minutes of the AGM held on 19 July 2017 were agreed as a correct record.




The meeting considered the accounts for the financial year ended 31 January 2018 along with a report by the Independent Examiner on those accounts.


It was unanimously agreed that:


  1. that the accounts for the the financial years ended 31 January 2018 be approved; and
  2. surpluses be carried forward to future years.


Election to Trust Board


The meeting considered a report by the Trust Secretary on the election of members to the Trust Board.


It was unanimously agreed that Rachael Brown and Bruce Walker be elected to the Board for the next two years. The Board may consider co-opting one or two people to fill the two vacancies.




The AGM considered a report of the Trust secretary on a proposal from online gaming company Fansbet.  Following an online consultation with Trust members the AGM agreed not to enter into a partnership with Fansbet but agreed that the Trust should consider and future requests from other commercial organisations on their merits.


Trust membership renewal and subscription fees


The AGM considered a report of the Trust secretary on arrangements for renewing Trust membership and fees with effect from the start of the 2019/20 season. It was agreed:


  1. To note that membership renewals would take place shortly for the 2018/19 season, with new members’ fees still at £1 and renewal fees held at £0; and
  2. For the 2019/20 season, fees for new members will be held at £1 but £1 will also be charged to members renewing their membership.


Supporters Direct and Football Supporters Federation


The AGM considered a report of the Trust secretary on proposals for the creation of a new single organisation to replace the two organisations, of which the Trust is a member. After discussion it was agreed that the Trust representatives at the forthcoming AGMs of the two organisations would vote to support the proposal.


Open Forum


The meeting discussed the future ownership of the Club, in the light of the continuing Judicial Review case; concerns about ticketing arrangements; the new supporters consultation group; and a forthcoming sponsored cycle ride to the friendly match with WBA.
