Well the waiting is almost over. 3 months following the sighs of relief as we escaped relegation on the final day, the excitement is building ahead of the new campaign. While it wasn’t a great pre-season to put it mildly – 2 goals and no wins in 5 friendlies against supposedly inferior opposition – frankly it counts for little. The real business starts tomorrow.

So on behalf of everyone in the Sky Blue Trust we want to wish Tony Mowbray, Sam Ricketts and the whole squad the very best of fortune for 2015-16. And we want to encourage everyone to get up to the Ricoh on Saturday for the first match against Wigan and create a great atmosphere. However you organise your support, whether you are a Season Ticket holder or a “walk up on the day” fan, Your Club Needs You! so please get there and get behind the Lads. Let's make the Ricoh a fortress that other Clubs fear to visit. Among the new signings there are players who could well become real Sky Blue heroes. You wouldn’t want to miss their first competitive City game!

Yes the Trust has been critical of the owners, Sisu, and the Directors they have appointed and we will continue to be so when they let down supporters, though we will also give them credit when it is due. But we must be very clear on this point ….. whatever we feel about Sisu and their representatives, Trust Members and the Board all love Coventry City Football Club with a passion, it’s why we spend so much time and effort campaigning to bring about a better Sky Blue Future.

So City Fans: “Let’s All Sing Together, Play Up Sky Blues, While We Sing Together, We Will Never Lose!”
