lewiscoaches.jpgThe Sky Blue Trust has organised coach trips to the majority of Sky Blue away matches this season. For many fans who have decided not to travel to Northampton fixtures, these games on the road have been their only opportunity to see their team in action.

We know that for both youngsters and our more senior supporters travelling to away games, let alone matches being played at Sixfields, is both costly and awkward.

For the away match at Peterborough on April 12th the Sky Blue Trust arranged free travel for both Under 16s and Seniors as well as paying for the kids match tickets.

Around 15 children and their accompanying parents signed up for the trip as well as 5 senior members, Many were watching their first match of the season.

Despite the result, a great day out was had by all. We even had a BBC camera crew onboard the coach to record the day for BBC Late Kick Off, which added to the fun. Unfortunately, the programme is no longer available on BBC iPlayer.

The day was a huge success and one that the Trust will look to repeat next season.
